Renovation and Demolition

Our expansion project continues to move forward at a heightened pace. At this moment there are many moving parts, and construction crews running around like frantic, yet well coordinated ants.

Yesterday, for instance, there was large machines moving earth, a crew tearing out walls and installing doors in the backstore, a crew building a temporary loading dock, a crew tearing of the western wall of Wheatsville, a crew working on installing a new door in our break room, and a crew working on the retaining wall near the pecan tree.

We needed to make some on the fly decisions yesterday. I was proud to see everyone taking things in stride and being extremely flexible. This make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. With so many changes happening, it is really important that everyone is onboard.

Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure.
